What is meant by 53 grade cement and M35 concrete?

53grade means the setting tme of cemant the 53grade cement final setting time is 10hours(grades gives the setting time of differerent cements) M35 means the mix of concrete propotion(in m20 concrete we use 1:4:8 proportion in m35 we use 1:2:4 ) i M35 M-mix,35-hardness

The 53grade cement corresponds to the average compressive strength attained after 28 days in Mega pascals.But in M35 concrete,M=mix and 35 is the characteristic cube compressive strength.The mix will be of two types:Nominal(volume based) which we see in small constructions,Designed(Mass) which we see in great constructions.
